| I would love to come to Roundtable but I don't know were or when it is? | |
| Our District roundtable is held once each month, except July, on the second Tuesday, at St Simon's Episcopal Church Kirchoff road in Arlington Heights. (Right behind Northwest Community Hospital). The General session begins at 7:30 with Cub and Boy Scout splits occurring a few minutes later. Please come in Uniform. | |
| If I take training offered in another District does that count for our District? | |
| Yes it does and thank you for becoming a trained leader. Training always counts, no matter were it is taken. It is; however, a good idea to keep the training card you received and make sure your unit leader for advancement has a copy of it for his/her records. | |
| I need to take Youth Protection Training. Were can I take it? | |
| Go to http://www.nwsc.org and click on the navigation link for Training. You can now take the Youth Protection training on line. Just make sure you have your BSA Identification/Registration card handy as the on-line training asks for that at the end of the class. Keep your eye on that training link as more classes will be offered "on-line". | |
| I know the rules for filing a tour permit have changed. Were can I find the new rules? | |
| Try this link http://www.nwsc.org/forms/TourPermitFAQ.pdf. That has most, if not all, of the information regarding the new rules for Tour Permit filing. By the way the old saying, WHEN IN DOUBT FILL IT OUT, is still the best way to remember to file a tour permit. | |
